Weather & Emergency

If it is necessary to close schools or delay their opening due to weather or other emergencies, you may obtain the latest information by calling the School Closing Hotline at 610.240.1970. Emergency closing information will be the FIRST message the caller will hear. If there is no special message at the beginning of the recording, then no emergency closing is in effect at that time. Weather-related closings are also reported on local radio and TV stations. Our school district number is 854.

In case the need arises to close school suddenly during the school day (due to storm, power failure, etc.) we will initiate our emergency calling system. If you are seldom at home during school hours, it would be advisable to plan emergency procedures with your child.
