Beaumont is one of five elementary schools in the Tredyffrin/Easttown (T/E) School District. There are approximately 430 students and 20 classroom teachers in our K-4 school.
School hours are 8:50am-3:20pm. AM Kindergarten is 8:50am-11:40am and PM Kindergarten is 12:30pm-3:20pm. No child should arrive at school prior to 8:30am unless participating in a before-school club or is attending A Child's Place. PM Kindergarten children should not be dropped off until after 12:20pm. 1/2 days and early dismissal is 12:20pm.
Students arriving after 8:50am must report to the Greeter in the lobby before heading to class. PM Kindergarten children arriving after 12:30pm must also report to the Greeter.
Please call the school at 610.240.1400 and leave a voicemail (option 5) before 9:30am on the day of your child's absence. State your child's name, homeroom teacher and number, and a brief reason why your child is absent. Send a note to school with the same written information upon your child's return. If absent for more than one day, contact the school office by 9:30am for homework requests.
Homework may be requested for students who are absent for more than one day. If your child has been out for more than one day, contact the office by 9:30 a.m. to allow time for the assignments to be gathered. Assignments may be picked up in the office at 3:20 p.m. or sent home with another student. (If a child is absent for only one day, please do not request assignments).
Please sign in with our Greeter and get an ID Badge before going to any part of the building. Please go directly to you destination and there only. Please check in with the greeter again if you decide to go anywhere else in the building.
Parents are encouraged to visit our school, particularly for special activities and events. If you would like to observe in a classroom, please make arrangements with the classroom teacher or the principal. We ask that you always register in the office and get a Visitor's ID Badge for the safety and security of our students. Also, please remember to turn off you cell phones. If you need to bring any items to your child, please leave them in the office in order to minimize classroom interruptions.
If children need to be dismissed early or excused from school for medical appointments or other urgent reasons, parents must send a note to the child's teacher. Your child will be dismissed through the office. Inform your child of the pick-up time so classes will not be disturbed.
Morning drop-offs are done in the carpool circle after 8:30am. PM Kindergarten students should also be dropped off in the carpool circle from 12:20 to 12:35pm. If you will be picking up your child after school at 3:20pm, you must send a note to let your child's teacher know you will be waiting at carpool.
