SPRING BLOOMBOX FUNDRAISER

The Beaumont HSA proudly presents our 2023 Spring Plant Sale Fundraiser with BloomBox!  Running April 23 through May 21, shop for all your spring plant and garden needs at https://getblooming.com/discount/Beaumont15.  Enter code "Beaumont15" in the gift card or discount code box on the payment screen.  Your order will be delivered to your door in 3-5 business days, and BloomBox will donate 15% of your order directly to the HSA.  Place Mothers Day orders by May 9 to ensure delivery before the holiday!

Please note: the code Beaumont15 MUST be entered in the "gift card or discount code" box on the payment screen in order to count towards the fundraiser.  BloomBox is unable to accept more than one discount code per order, so this fundraiser cannot be combined with a coupon or BloomBucks.

Thank you to our Beaumont office staff and custodial staff for steering us in the right direction and providing support: Dr. Demming, Mrs. Toland, Mrs. Cantando, Mrs. Ryle, Mrs. Simpson, Mr. Joe, Mr. Harvey!

Thanks to Mrs. Messantonio and the kitchen staff for filling our bellies with delicious food!

Thanks to Mrs. Iamurri for helping the 4th graders create the beautiful Spring Carnival posters displayed in the Cafeteria!

Thanks to Mrs. Hedenberg, Mrs. Berg, Mrs. McConaghy, Ms. Hochstetler, for lending us their classrooms to use on a rainy day!

Thanks to our Webmaster, Alicia Mendicino, and Communications VP, Marisa Diaz, for the amazing marketing support!

Thanks to our HSA President, Ashley Force, VP, Amy Benchener, and our HSA Treasurer, Bridgid Burkert, for their guidance and behind the scenes work!

And most importantly, thank you to all of our volunteers who took time away from their families on a Friday night to pitch in and sell food, work a game, run an activity, hand out wristbands, get wet in the dunk tank, clean-up and set-up, lend supplies, and help in all of the little ways that made a big impact!

LOST & FOUND
THE BEAUMONT HSA IS SEEKING APPLICANTS FOR OPEN 2023-24 BOARD POSITIONS

Beaumont Elementary's Home and School Association is looking to fill positions on its Executive Board for the 2023-24 school year. Below are the open positions and their descriptions. Members of the Executive Board work together as a team alongside parent volunteers and the school community to support our BES families, teachers and staff all while fundraising and creating wonderful friendships.

Our Executive Board meets monthly. It's a wonderful time to get involved and all volunteers are welcome! If you are not interested in a board position at this time, we will be recruiting very soon for chair and committee positions for the various activities and events we have throughout the year!

Please feel free to reach out to Amy Benchener if you have any questions at volunteers@beaumonthsa.org.

We cannot wait to hear from you!

Assistant Treasurer

The HSA Assistant Treasurer works alongside the Treasurer as the custodian of the parent group’s funds. The Treasurer helps develop the budget, collects fundraising money, is the direct recipient of all cash and check deposits, writes checks for purchases and reimbursements, tracks income and spending, makes financial reports, and organizes the books for annual audit. The Treasurer has the power to sign checks along with the President. Knowledge of QuickBooks is helpful. *This position is a two-year term.

Vice President of Community Service
The Vice President of Community Service seeks to provide opportunities for Beaumont families to support organizations in-need within the local community. Examples of projects that the VP of Community Service has run in the past include canned food drives, gift cards for Royer-Graves, and a sock drive in connection with Joy of Sox. This is a very special way of connecting with the needs of our community.

Searching for Social Media Maven
Beaumont HSA's Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/beaumonthsa) needs another social media maven to take over next year! The HSA Facebook moderator will help get new class pages started at the beginning of the year and maintain the HSA's own page by loading timely, informative and witty posts for the enjoyment of our large audience. Training available immediately. Great opportunity for a volunteer to give time from the comfort of your home at any hour without having to wear pants.

Interested or have questions regarding any of the positions? Contact Amy Benchener volunteers@beaumonthsa.org.
