Beaumont Book Fair Begins This Week!

The book fair is coming to Beaumont 10/16-10/20!

This is something the kids look forward to every year and it is a great way to get the kids excited for their nightly reading.  The students will have the opportunity to visit the book fair with their classes to create a wish list and then the students will come back to the book fair with their class or at a specific time that is designated by the teacher to make a purchase.   The process may vary slightly by grade, but everyone will have the opportunity to visit the fair.

Parents can send the students with money to purchases books on the first day they visit the fair or you can wait to view the wish list. Parents can set up an EWallet, which is similar to a gift card, send in cash or a check made out to the Beaumont HSA.  More information on this will come home in their back packs by Friday.  If you would like to find out more about it now, please follow this link:

Special Book Fair Events:  Family night at the Book Fair on Wednesday, October 18th  5:00p – 6:30p

Bring the family to the book fair that can be found in the Large Group Room.  We will have snacks and waters available for purchase.  Come listen to a couple of books read by our special guest.

Do You Want to Volunteer?

The Book Fair cannot be possible without the help from volunteers. The students need help finding books that are appropriate for their age, the younger ones need help writing down the titles of books and finding the price, counting money and so much more.  Please consider volunteering where your schedule allows.  The class schedule and volunteer sign up can be found here:

https://signup.com/go/PGTdowo

We look forward to seeing everyone at the book fair.

HSA MEETING - TUESDAY 10/17

The HSA October Meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 17th at 9:15am in the Large Group Room. As always, parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.

CARING BEARS

A few years ago, Beaumont launched a group called the Beaumont Caring Bears. This committee helps our HSA recognize and/or support members of our school community who may be going through life challenges or who may have achieved something extraordinary.

If you know of a student or staff member who deserves special recognition, or if you know someone who is struggling and could use a little extra TLC, send an email to the Beaumont Caring Bears and we will make sure that person is shown some extra BES attention!

All submissions can be sent to caringbears@beaumonthsa.org and someone will follow up. Please include the student or staff member’s name, grade, and any information you would like us to know. Also, if you would like to get involved with our group, please send an email to caringbears@beaumonthsa.org.

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!

The HSA is working on putting together many events and programs for the school year. There are many opportunities with varying levels of commitment, and we need your help to make it all happen. We are an inclusive group that is always looking for new and friendly faces to help! We encourage all new ideas! Below, please find a link that lists all of the upcoming events and their descriptions.
