HSA Fundraising Recap

The past school year was a busy and successful one for the Beaumont Home & School Association.  We wanted to take a moment to share with you all the tremendous fundraising that happened over the course of the year and how it was put back into the school, community and children’s experiences at Beaumont.

This past year, the HSA raised $65,674!  Thank you to every volunteer and donor for all of your support.  This takes a village, and every helping hand is appreciated.

  • 42% through Family events such as Carnival, Winter Ball, Parent Social, etc.
  • 31% through After School Clubs
  • 12% through Donations
  • 11% through Book Fairs

The HSA is forecasted to spend $75,500 this year – as planned, as we invest funds raised during COVID that could not be spent at that time, over a 5 year time span.

  • 25% on Grade level teacher requests such as assignment books, globes, indoor recess supplies, teaching easels, flexible seating, math manipulatives and beginning of the year teacher stipends to set up their classroom (to name a few!).  Included in this was also $5,000 for the Special Education classrooms via a private donation.
  • 23% on Capital Items such as the digital carpool sign, walkie-talkies, poster maker supplies, picnic tables, lamppost banners and a quiet zone to be used at future events.
  • 21% for Assemblies individualized across all grades with an additional 5 the entire school was able to take part in.
  • 10% on Grade level activities including the 4th grade graduation celebration, field day, 1st grade student books, and the vegetable garden.
  • 7% on Teacher and Staff appreciation
  • 7% on administrative expenses such as insurance, webmaster and accountant fees.

Thank you again for your support throughout the school year. Wishing you a restful, memory-filled summer with your Beaumont students!

Best,

Jami Long, Treasurer

Sara Dougherty, Assistant Treasurer
