COMMUNITY SERVICE CORNER
THANK YOU - BES BIKE DRIVE

A huge THANK YOU to all who participated in our first annual Used Bike Drive with Zummo Bikes of Berwyn last weekend!  The event was a huge success! We collected a grand total of 62 bikes, plus various helmets and bike accessories, in the BES Carpool Circle on Saturday morning! It was so wonderful to see some of our BES Bears engaged in collecting bikes, cleaning and adding air to bike tires, and writing thank you notes to our donors! Zummo Bikes was extremely appreciative of our help! Thanks to our BES community for donating your time and biking equipment!

RECYCLING AT BES

Have you heard about the BES Cafeteria Recycling Center?  Students can recycle these items in the marked bins next to the stage: clean plastic bags, empty juice pouches, toothbrushes, empty toothpaste tubes, glue sticks, and writing instruments.  Halloween candy wrappers will be collected during October and early November.  The cafeteria has compost bins for fruit and vegetable lunch scraps.  See this flyer for more information. Thanks for helping make Beaumont green!
