SUBJECT: BES BLAST

BES BLAST
OCTOBER 12, 2026
The Book Fair is coming to Beaumont this week, 10/13 - 10/17. This is something the kids look forward to every year and it is a great way to get the kids excited for their nightly reading. The students will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair with their classes to create a wish list and then the students will come back to the Book Fair with their class or at a specific time that is designated by the teacher to make a purchase. The process may vary slightly by grade, but everyone will have the opportunity to visit the fair. Parents can send the students with money to purchase books on the first day they visit the fair or you can wait to view the wish list.  Parents can set up an eWallet, which is similar to a gift card, send in cash or a check made out to the Beaumont HSA. Information was sent home in their back packs last week. If you would like to find out more about it now, please follow this link:

GREEN CORNER

GOTSNEAKERS????????

GotSneakers was established within the TE School District in January 2023 by Finnegan Walsh & his brother, Shane (2024).  GotSneakers is a sustainable community service fundraiser, GENTLY USED SNEAKERS are collected to support those in need globally. The sneaker recycling program helps keep sneakers out of landfills, reduces the CO2 impact which offer harmful effects on our environment. The GOTSNEAKERS program rewards the collection efforts with a small monetary reward that goes to the Conestoga XC Track & Field Booster Clubs! Since its inception the TE School District has donated over 3,000 pairs of sneakers globally. The program is truly a win – win!

As of September 22, 2025 all the TE Schools will host GotSneakers in their entryways for collections of new & gently used SNEAKERS.

SNEAKERS ONLY - GUIDELINES.

The Conestoga GotSneakers Club looks forward to making a positive global impact within our community.
