TESD Elementary Parents - Apply for the Redistricting Steering Committee

As TESD prepares to open Bear Hill Elementary School in August 2027, the District is seeking parent and guardian volunteers to serve on the Redistricting Steering Committee. The Committee will help develop a recommended elementary redistricting plan to support balanced enrollment and effective use of District facilities. The application window is open now through April 24. Learn more about the Committee and apply by visiting the T/E School District website.

Community involvement is essential, and TESD values the time and perspectives of families who choose to participate.

Book Fair 4/13 - 4/17

The Book Fair is coming to Beaumont next week, 4/13 - 4/17.  This is something the kids look forward to every year and is a great way to get the kids excited for their nightly reading.  The students will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair with their classes to create a wish list and then come back with their class or at a specific time designated by the teacher to make a purchase.  Parents can send the students with money to purchase books on the first day they visit the fair or you can wait to view the wish list. Parents can set up an eWallet online and/or send in cash or check made out to the Beaumont HSA.  More information on this will come home in their backpacks by Friday.  If you would like to find out more about it now, please follow this link:

The Book Fair can not be possible without the help from volunteers. The students need help finding books that are appropriate for their age, the younger ones need help writing down the titles of books and finding the price, counting money and so much more.  Please consider volunteering where your schedule allows. The class schedule and volunteer sign up can be found here:

All talent levels are welcome—this is about having fun and sharing what you love! Some ideas include: singing, dancing, skits or acting, playing an instrument, comedy, gymnastics, magic tricks, or any unique talent your child wants to showcase! A microphone, speaker, and some equipment will be provided, but please bring any additional props or instruments needed.

You’re Invited to Join the TEMS PTO

Parents and guardians of rising 5th graders are warmly invited to join us for the TEMS PTO meeting on Thursday, April 16th at 9:30 AM at TE Middle School.

When you arrive, please check in at the school’s front office, and the staff will be happy to direct you to the meeting location.

Our meetings are typically held on the third Thursday of each month and are a great way to stay connected with what’s happening at TEMS. The principal Dr Dilella always attends, giving families the opportunity to hear updates and ask questions directly about school programs and initiatives. For this meeting, we’re also pleased that Dr. Turk, the Assistant Principal for Grade 5, will be joining us, making it a wonderful opportunity to meet and connect.

We’ll begin with a brief overview of the PTO and how we support the school, followed by time to chat and get to know other parents over coffee. As we look ahead to next year, we expect to have a few open PTO positions and would love to gauge interest from anyone who may want to get involved.

Please note that this is not the school’s official Grade 5 orientation, which will take place later in May. This meeting is simply an opportunity to get an early look at the TEMS PTO and connect with other families.

We hope you’ll join us—we’d love to meet you!
