After School Clubs - New! 8 Week Session
Thank you for your interest in having your child participate in an After-School Club sponsored by the Beaumont Home and School Association (HSA). There are a variety of clubs that have been favorites over the years. We are hoping to continue providing new clubs for our children to enjoy. The HSA welcomes parent feedback about all of the clubs as well as your involvement.
Please note that for Winter Session 2026, the session will last for 8 weeks (as opposed to the standard 6 weeks in the past). Total costs for the 8 weeks will now be $150. Additional weeks are scheduled in case of cancellations due to snow days, assemblies, holidays or any other conflicts. Clubs meet from 4:00 to 4:50pm and pickup will take place at the carpool circle (unless other arrangements are specified). Chess club, Coding club (grades 1-2), Create a Book club, Language club and Puppy Pals club will meet in the morning at 7:45 am. Drop off for morning clubs will be at the main entrance of the building.
Winter Session: Week of January 5, 2026 – Week of February 23, 2026 (Make-up: Week of March 2 and Week of March 9, 2026)
** ** There will be no clubs on 1/19, 2/16 & 2/17 due to school holidays. If your child’s session is on a “NO SCHOOL” day their session will be made up the following week.
** Also there is no nurse on site during After School Clubs, since they occur outside of a school day.

Club Reminders:
- All Clubs meet after school from 4:00 to 4:50pm (except Chess club, Coding club: grades 1-2, Create a book club, Language club & Puppy Pals club.
- Chess club, Coding club (grades 1-2), Create a book club, Language club & Puppy Pals club meet in the morning at 7:45am. Students remain in the cafeteria for early drop off until dismissed to classrooms.
- Club leaders have a list of students; send a note to your child’s teacher only if they are NOT attending
the club that week - Provide an after-school snack for your child (please keep in mind our children with allergies when
packing a snack) - Pick up your child PROMPTLY at 4:50 pm in the carpool circle and dropped off NO EARLIER than
7:40am at the main entrance of the building.- NOTE: Early drop offs (ex. Earlier than 7:40am) or late pickups (ex. Past 4:50pm) may result in the child’s

Registration:
- One child per form please (this includes siblings and multiples).
- Registrations without payment will be returned.
- Registrations and payment must be received by the deadline on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
Payment:
- Each 8 week session is $150 per student with the exception of Storybook Chef Cooking Club ($170).
- If you would like to enquire about your child’s eligibility for Financial Aid, please contact the Guidance Counselor, Judith Root, at rootj@tesd.net.
Placement:
- The club coordinator will assign a student to his/her preferred clubs(s) according to availability.
- Once the number of registrations meets the maximum number of students allowed for a club, the club will be closed for further registrations.
- Clubs that do not meet the minimum number required will be cancelled.
- Please do not contact Club Leaders after registration closes; you may contact the Club Coordinator
(details below) to see if there are still openings available.

PUPPY PALS CLUB – (Grades K-4) – Mondays, 7:45 a.m.
Leader: Mrs. Hedenberg (Music Teacher)
Minimum 15 students / Maximum 30 students

Cost: $150
Young animal lovers will have a tail-wagging good time as they explore the wonderful world of puppies through fun games, creative crafts, and hands-on activities. Each week, children will learn how to care for, train, and understand dogs while building teamwork and empathy. From pretend puppy training to understanding how dogs communicate, this club is sure to be paws-itively unforgettable!
GLOBAL KIDS CLUB – (Grades 3-4) – Mondays, 4:00-4:50 p.m.

Travel the world without leaving school! Explore new countries each week through games, music, art, and culture while learning about global goals (UN SDGs Sustainable Development Goals) and teamwork.
CREATE A BOOK CLUB – (Grades 2-4) – Tuesdays, 7:45 a.m.

In this 8-week club, students in grades 2–4 will become real authors and illustrators! Each child will plan, write, and design their own original book or comic from start to finish. We’ll explore characters, settings, dialogue, and artwork in a fun, supportive environment that nurtures creativity and confidence. At the end of the club, every student will receive a professionally bound copy of their completed book to keep and proudly share.
LANGUAGE CLUB CLUB – (Grades K-4) – Tuesdays, 7:45 a.m.

Embark on a language adventure in our French & Spanish Club for children in Kindergarten-4th Grade! Each week, students will explore the sounds, songs, stories, and cultures of France and Spain through playful, hands-on activities. From learning greetings and colors to singing catchy tunes and creating crafts, children will build confidence while discovering the joy of speaking new languages. This fun, engaging club celebrates curiosity, creativity, and global connection — bonjour and hola to a world of learning!
LEGO CLUB (Grades K-4) – Tuesdays, 4:00-4:50 p.m.
Leader: Mrs. Brown (3rd Grade Teacher)

Lego Club is all about positive socialization, creativity and design. Students use their imagination and critical thinking skills while working individually or collaboratively to create with Lego. Builders are encouraged to share and celebrate their ideas. For sure it will be a fun time together with friends!
STEM SQUAD CLUB – (Grades 1-2) – Tuesdays, 4:00-4:50 p.m.
Leader: Mrs. Prothero (STEM Teacher)
Minimum 10 students / Maximum 18 students
Location: STEM Lab
Cost: $150
Students will have fun with all things STEM! Activities will vary each week (i.e. makerspace challenges, building challenges, collaboration challenges, STEM specific games, exploratory robotics, etc.). Students will need their iPads on occasion, which will be communicated as needed. No experience needed.
CHESS CLUB (Grades K-4) – Wednesdays, 7:45 a.m.

Get ready to think, strategize, and have fun in Chess Club! Whether your child is brand new to the game or already knows their way around the board, this club offers exciting challenges for every level. Students will learn classic strategies, openings, and problem-solving skills while playing friendly matches with their peers. Join us to build confidence, sharpen critical thinking and discover the joy of chess in a fun, supportive environment!
CODING CLUB – (Grades 3-4) – Wednesdays, 4:00-4:50 p.m.

Ready to level up? In this club, students will dive deeper into coding with more advanced challenges, projects and problem solving. Using interactive platforms, they’ll design simple programs, practice debugging and stretch their creative thinking. A great next step for budding programmers!
DANCE CLUB (Grades 1-4) – Wednesday, 4:00-4:50 p.m.
Leader: Mrs. Brown (3rd Grade Teacher)

Get ready to bust a move! Students will appreciate different types of dancing around the world such as K-Pop, line dancing, salsa, and freestyle. The group will decide the focus and everyone will have lots of fun. All skill levels are welcomed.
ROBOTICS CLUB (Grades 3-4) – Wednesdays, 4:00-4:50 p.m.
Leader: Mrs. Prothero (STEM Teacher)
Minimum 10 students / Maximum 18 students
Location: STEM Lab
Cost: $150
Students will use Dash, Cubelets, and/or Sphero robots to enhance their coding skills and computational thinking skills. Students will need a charged iPad for this club. Activities will differ from those we do in class. No experience needed.
CODING CLUB – (Grades 1-2) – Thursdays, 7:45 a.m.

The students will be introduced to basic coding skills. We will explore simple coding concepts as we learn from each other. Using kid-friendly programs, they’ll explore how to give instructions, solve problems and think like a coder – all while having fun. No experience needed.

KINDNESS CLUB (Grades 2-4) – Thursdays, 4:00-4:50 p.m.

Kindness Club is a fun and creative space where students explore what it means to be kind to themselves, to others, to their school, and to their community. Through hands-on activities, projects, and teamwork, members will spread positivity throughout Beaumont and learn how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
STORYBOOK CHEF COOKING CLUB (Grades 2-4) – Thursdays, 4:00-4:50 p.m.
Leader: Mrs. Brown (3rd Grade Teacher)
Minimum 10 students / Maximum 20 students
Location: Science Room
Cost: $170 ($150 club + $20 for food)
Storybook Chef Club is a time to explore the magical world of food through popular children’s books. Each session pairs a story with a fun no-stove recipe that kids can easily make on their own or with a group. It is the perfect way to combine creativity, literacy, and delicious food! There will be an additional $20 per student for the food.
** Storybook Chef Cooking Club will include a variety of foods so if someone has any food allergies, this club might not be the best fit.
JUMP ROPE CLUB (Grades 1-4) – Fridays, 4:00-4:50 p.m.

Students will build strength, stamina and rhythm while learning fun tricks and team jumping skills.
